Back From Sabbatika! :D
Thank you, WordPress. It’s been an honour 🙂
So I finally won the battle with this lackadaisical part of me.
My break from on here was inexcusable though.
Y’all by now, must be aware of my constant battle with having to juggle between things.
Sorry to disappoint you, I am not just that gifted. 🙂
Anyhoo.. who cares? It’s the holidays!
And guess who’s here?
Haha. Rhymes aye!
This is the Best. Part. Of. My. Year.
Asides from the fact that school’s out for a couple of days and you inevitably get to take a break from books for a few days before the realization finally starts to hit you that:
Things just seem a whole lot simpler. People seem relaxed. More forth-coming. Happy to relate. Everyone’s keeping their heads down. Low-key anticipating the new year in good peace. Because, you see, this time of the year, there is this common misconception about the fragility of the month. Being a cross-over month and all. Like we’ve not actually been crossing over into other months for months now.
One thing me I don’t even like about this whole cross-over thing is the fact that, 6 months from now, you’ll still be saying ‘same to you‘ to some pple. When they’ll not let you rest with all the, “Happy new year o. ” “Compliments o” kinikan kinikan greetings.
It’s a great thing seeing smiling faces all around, anyway. Really. It gives a tad bit of leap to the heart that there is still hope for an happier generation 🙂
It just gotta start with one of us.
Any of us.
By the way, I’ve got one or two untold stories to tell.
No pun intended.
Maybe I should have just said unfinished business.
Teramade’s diary et all.
Which I would apologetically have to carry over till next year.
Sooo… Chillanticipate. 😉
And on that note, I wish y’all God’s best for the remaining part of the year and good tidings in the coming one.
These are some great thoughts to live by. I hope they inspire you as much as they did, me.
Have a glorious holiday and an auspicious 20!5, my dear reader.
